At this year's Tufts Community Day, Tufts SEDS presented itself to the Somerville/Medford community by engaging families in an exciting activity – crafting and launching paper stomp rockets! As we launched these rockets into the sky, we seized the opportunity to connect with community members of all ages. We had meaningful discussions with families, fellow Tufts students/alumni, and Tufts faculty about our club's mission and what we stand for: a passionate commitment to space exploration and STEM education. It was a fun and inspiring day of hands-on learning and sharing our enthusiasm for the cosmos with our community!
